LAPIS LAZULI is a beautiful gem, with its deep dark blue and small golden shining Pyrite inclusions, twinkling like little stars. Lapis Lazuli was one of the first stones ever to be used for jewellery, and there have been several findings of jewels, which were made to accompany the deceased into the afterlife, according to ancient beliefs.
This is a sign that the people of ancient Rome, Persia, Egypt and Greece cherished this gem.
