How to buy pearls

Cultured pearls are sold on thread, approx. 38-40 centimetres long.

Our pearls are usually in limited supply.
Since pearls are natural products, some shapes and colours are only available in a limited supply and can’t be bought later on. One process of dying the pearls is never identical to another, and may not achieve the same shade of colour. Therefore, it’s better to buy all the pearls you need for a project at the same time.

Be aware of the fact that you generally get what you pay for, when it comes to cultivated pearls. In other words; the higher the price, the better the pearl. Expensive pearls are more even when it comes to shape and colour and have a nicer lustre. The prices on pearls also tend to be higher for very small pearls (more work to drill and string them) and very big ones (more rare and takes longer time to grow).
